Structural Composition of Vaccum Emulsifying Homogenizer

The emulsifier is mainly composed of a power system, transmission system, working head, sealing system and control system, among which the working head and sealing system are the key components affecting equipment performance. The power system generally adopts a three‑phase asynchronous motor or variable‑frequency motor to provide stable high‑speed power for the equipment. The transmission system transmits power to the main shaft via couplings or pulleys. Some high‑end equipment can achieve speed multiplication through belt drive to meet the requirement of high shear force.

The working head is the core of the emulsifier, consisting of a rotor and a stator. The rotor rotates at high speed while the stator remains stationary, maintaining a precise tiny gap between them. The rotor‑stator assemblies are mostly made of 304 or 316L stainless steel, with finely polished or toothed surfaces to adapt to materials of different viscosities and hardnesses.

To prevent material leakage and meet hygiene standards, modern emulsifiers are commonly fitted with mechanical seals. A mechanical seal consists of at least one pair of end faces perpendicular to the rotating axis. These end faces keep fitting and sliding under the action of fluid pressure and the elastic force of the compensation mechanism. It features low leakage and long service life, complying with GMP standards for the pharmaceutical and food industries.

In terms of the control system, modern equipment is mostly equipped with variable‑frequency speed regulation systems, PLC control systems and human‑machine interfaces to realize accurate speed control and adjustment of process parameters.
